Guys, I need to know how much defensive/offensive troops you have. I've been talking with warfang(who's sick that's why he hasn't been on the forums lately) and we've came up with a strategy. Everyone should have ABOUT as many defensive troops as their population. Ex. if you have 1k pop 700-900 troops should be fine.
as for offensive, have a decent amount of cats for your size, strongest infantry, and maybe some calvary. if your under 600 pop focus mainly on defensive troops.
I've got 1750 Imps 900 praets 100 legions and 150 horse guys..xD
warfang has 450 swordsmen 1500 phalanx and 240 tt's. Notice how I am absed on offense and he is based on defence. List your opinions and troops, please. Very Happy

2 of my citys have lvl 20 wall.
1550 Spearmen, each one almost lvl 20
120 pallies
600 macemen
10ish rams

Building them as fast as I can...
An i haven't picked an offensive town to make lvl 20s from yet. thats why I don't have that many.

At the armory. Their armor is almost lvl 20, I am at 18 right now.

I know, I researched cats, just so they are available to me when I'm ready for them, and because I wanted to get it over with. I had nothing else to do with my resources.

MAKE SURE you have a main building level 20 cause it really cuts down on building time. And make sure your wheat income is high enough to support a reinforcement of 400 troops. Cause if your gonna get attacked, we want you to be reinforced without killing your income.

Trust me... A teuton that uses gold would be at the top. Roman units cost ALOT. Romans are only good for teching and attacking with huge numbers, which cost alot.
