I can. But I choose to save it for later in the game, when I have like five villages and it takes a while to upgrade stuff. I only have like 100 gold.

Well that is a lot compared to some people I know. In fact this some person I know buys like over 600 gold herself, on like every server, and she has an account on every single server! That is a lot of gold, not to mention she is the one who got me my hundred gold.
